Conference: -co-chair meetings with Joan -confirmed speakers with Joan -drafted contracts -finalized contract with the hotel (Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge) -supported conference team members with: vendors, speakers, website, etc. -liaised with Barnett House -drafted budget

Why is this important? What does the above mean for our members, teaching and learning and/or the council?

ESLC is organizing a professional development for all ESLC members and potential members. This is our annual conference that targets members across the province and also provides networking opportunities for all ESLC members.

What are the next steps? What is next for you in your role - where to from here? What do you need from the council or how could the council benefit from you?
Continue to organize this event as it will take months of planning.
